Capacity building on community approaches to total sanitation (CATS) and inter-personal communication (IPC) for SBM (G) Implementation in Khagaria, Sitamarhi and Vaishali districts of Bihar

Narrative Description of Project:

The assignment  entails two essential activities:

• Conducting a 5 day training of Facilitators on CLTS in each of the districts

• Mentoring support to the districts (and deployed teams) to create ODF GPs

Description of actual services provided by your staff within the assignment:

• Conducted capacity building on Community Approaches to Total Sanitation (CATS)

• Trained local communities in Interpersonal Communication (IPC) techniques

• Supported the implementation of Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin) in Khagaria, Sitamarhi, and Vaishali districts

• Promoted sustainable sanitation practices and hygiene behavior change

• Facilitated community engagement and effective communication for SBM (G) goals
