Development of local capacity to implement community led total sanitation (CLTS) to make the entire Guna Block of Guna District in Madhya Pradesh open defecation free (ODF)

Description of Actual services provided by the staff

Carrying out a baseline survey to mark the starting point for CLTS initiative in the block; building up a local team and building their capacities for CLTS implementation on the ground; CLTS orientation workshops with local administration and concerned departments in order to forge effective linkage with TSC/NBA  for working out a robust implementation strategy; enhancing the capacities of various stakeholders; triggering communities and follow up to facilitate their resolve to become open defecation free communities
