Narrative description of Project:

The objective of the assignment are as follows:

·      Validating and showcasing achievements of PACS program

·      Documenting important lessons / learnings through the project cycle

·      Identifying areas where further strengthening is expected / expressed by the communities

·      Documenting outstanding examples of influencing common man and policy issues and issues related to inclusion  / exclusion – Recommend future strategy for livelihoods promotion for SHGs

·      Quantifying and documenting the facilitation of implementation of government schemes / programs at grassroots – for replication and up scaling.

Description of actual services provided by your staff within the assignment:

·      Reviewed the status and functioning of SHGs and suggested ways and means for their better and improved functioning.

·      Assessment and reviewed the strategy and capacity of the CSOs for execution of the project / activities.

·      Documentation for the income and employment generation that resulted through different activities carried out under the programme.

·      Project impact assessment on socio – economic conditions of the beneficiaries.
