Narrative Description of Project:

This assignment is the second part to a recently concluded assignment which aimed at piloting the CLTS approach in the district and successfully created an ODF block.

This assignment included :

a)    Training master facilitators in CLTS for scale up across the district

b)    Supportive supervision and trouble-shooting across the 12 blocks

c)    Introducing Solid Liquid Waste Management system across the 12 blocks in the district

d)    Training on Menstrual Hygiene Management  to SHGs Description of actual services provided by your staff within the assignment:

·      5 days CLTS capacity building trainings at all the blocks in the Cooch Behar district

·      3 days volunteers training at different gram panchayats

·      1 day mason training for  at different gram panchayats

·      SHG Jansabhas

·      1 day session for Menstrual Health Management

·      Construction of toilets saturated in all households using safe technology options and monitoring for sustainability of toilet usage and regular follow-ups.
