Narrative description of Project:

 

The objective of the assignment is to provide a combination of leadership and technical assistance with the qualitative RAP study, including interpretation and communication of relevant findings.

 

·      Identifying common sources of health – related information, including messages specific to water treatment and storage

·      Identifying social norms and influences regarding water treatment

·      Identify male and female perspectives on HWTS products

·      Understanding the intra household decision making processes for household expenditures, including HWTS

·      Identifying sources of water and health related information that are trusted

·      Identifying different ways individuals may be civically involved in their community (e.g. self – help, community associations)

·      Ascertaining illness concerns in the community, along with their perceived causes

·      Identifying particular HWTS programs and policies in their community

·      Understanding peoples’ concerns related to water, as well as their aspirations in terms of safer water (quality / taste / appearance / flow)

·      Identifying common water treatment activities in the community, as well as their views, attitudes and experiences with different water treatment products

·      Understanding people’s decisions and influences regarding water treatment and storage activities.

·      Determining features desired in new water treatment products
