Narrative Description of Project:
Review and evaluation exercise aims at mapping out the trajectory of Huairou Commission’s on-going transition in the wake of its new governance structure, system and strategy adopted during its first Global Congress of Grassroots Women (GCGW) at Kuala Lumpur in February 2018.
External governance review to assist the global network in benchmarking its progress, challenges and lessons learned from HC’s four-year effort to transition to a grassroots’ member-led and governed social movement.
Description of Actual services provided by the staff:
Knowledge Links has carried out the governance review and evaluation of Huairou Commission, a New York based global coalition of international network of organisations working on women empowerment issues across 50 countries in Asia, Africa, Latin America, Caribbean, Europe and Russia. This is being done in the wake of fundamental structural reforms introduced in the governance structure, system and strategy of HC in 2018.
