Up-scaling CATS in 5 Districts (Dantewada, Raipur, Rajnandgaon, Sarguja, Kawardha) of Chhattisgarh Supported by UNICEF, Raipur

Narrative description of Project:

• To support the CATS district wide up-scaling for achieving the goals of SBM (G) in five districts which shall serve as a model for other districts.

• To support a model where the Government functionaries (trained on CATS) can make a district ODF. This is needed to address the apprehensions of some government officials that CATS can never achieve full district ODF within the time frame stipulated as per the SBM(G).

• To support the districts in attaining the programmatic targets with the agreed timelines. The districts have set a time frame for attaining the status as ODF and the presence of a technical resource person can help in reaching this target by keeping a track of the activities related to SBM(G) and then providing the necessary support to address the gaps.
