Narrative description of Project:

·      To support the CATS district wide upscaling for achieving the goals of Swachha Bharat Mission Grameen (SBM-G) in five district.

·      To support a model where the Government functionaries (trained on CATS) can make a district ODF.

To support the districts in attaining the programmatic targets with the agreed timelines.

Description of Actual services provided by the staff

·  Supported district-wide upscaling of Community Led Total Sanitation (CATS) to achieve Swachh Bharat Mission Grameen (SBM-G) goals in five districts of Chhattisgarh

·  Assisted in developing and implementing a model for government functionaries trained in CATS to make districts Open Defecation Free (ODF)

·  Provided technical support to government officials for CATS-based sanitation programs

·  Monitored progress and ensured alignment with programmatic targets and agreed timelines

·  Facilitated capacity building and hands-on training for local government staff to enhance sanitation efforts
